Hell yes.
Yea, seriously due.
Last year would have been great, but tour timing didn't work out I suspect... Their LA shows seem to sellout fairly quickly.
late night in the mojave fo sho
I see her in the She & Him spot. In any case, the set will be a perfect opportunity for the return of the masked cult. Perhaps we should also do some sort of costuming.
Lilia, that performance with the string section was unbelievable. And that setlist with all those covers and Howl!...wish I could have been there.
While Natasha would love the masks, I just don't know if it will be the same feeling not on psilocybin. (really, I just don't see myself on that level for BFL).
Yes, that performance does sound amazing, however I vote against the buttoned up blouse. It's all about sequined tops and spandex pants.

I was surprised she wasn't there this year.
PLEASE.
11pm set in the Mojave would be very nice!!!
I was just wondering to myself yesterday "when will there be some new BFL material?"

Bat for Lashes has collaborated with Beck on a track exclusively for the new Twilight film ‘Eclipse’.
The song ‘Let’s Get Lost’ is drenched in Beck’s signature lo-fi electronics, with both Bat and Beck duetting Natasha’s lyrics over atmospheric synths and dramatic beats.
The full soundtrack will be available on Atlantic from 8 June, with the film itself on general release from 30 June.
Joshua Tree sure seemed important to her, which is really close. I doubt it was just the mushrooms, either.

Brief update/news concerning the recording of the third album
Bat For Lashes will head into the studio soon with producer David Kosten to begin new recording sessions.
This is exciting news for fans considering Kosten played a major role in producing Fur and Gold along with sophomore album Two Suns. Things may move at a fast pace since the vast majority of songs are written and the first home demos may already be recorded.
2012, then.“Hello everybody!
Sorry its been so long since I last wrote… a lot of creative foraging has been going on under the dark cover of winter, along with
snowy walks in the Sussex Downs, a billion cups of tea, an ever expanding jumper collection and lots of re-reading of childhood
books… And now, finally, spring is here!
I am very happy to announce that we will be doing a live outing to Australia in June to play two nights at the Sydney Opera
House! I’m so excited to take the live show over there, as we have never played Oz before. We are hoping to play an eclectic
set - a mixture of full band, string quartet and perhaps a few musical surprises? It’s a pretty big one to start out with?!!! - bit
nervous, but can’t wait to meet you all!
There are also a lot of new songs, films, drawings, paintings, ideas - all of it coming together slowly but surely. It may still be
a while, but I’m looking forward to sharing the new record with you.
Finally, I will leave you with a picture of my new kitten. She has been both a great new friend and a brilliant hot water bottle
these past months! Ha!

Why hasn't this happened already?
