Anderson Cooper is acting like one of those dumb blonde anchors on Fox in this clip. I've never seen him do this before - very unprofessional. I don't believe there is strong evidence of foreign birth but there's enough question so there should be an investigation (same way I feel about 9/11). I also believe the McCain Panama stuff but that's not relevant (also wasn't he born on an American base or something in Panama? That would be legal).

Anyway, while this clip doesn't sway me either way because it's such bullshit, Cooper is not doing Obama's case any favors by giving up his journalistic integrity and blasting guests.

McCain was born outside of the Panama Canal Zone and thus not in a U.S. Territory. He was not born on an American base.

From what I can tell, though, "natural born citizen" doesn't have a clear legal definition and in practice that would not have been an issue. McCain was on the ballot in all 50 states and would've assumed the presidency had he won.

There would, however, still be people claiming he wasn't legally president due to being born outside the US. The main difference between these theoretical anti-McCain folks and the anti-Obama folks we have to listen to now is that the former would be arguing based on laws and their interpretation and the latter are spinning conspiracy theories.

What if the original is lost? Should those who don't have the "original" be disqualified from running for President? If it's lost does that mean you will never be able to prove citizenship? Where will they deport me?

Last I checked we live in the United States and Obama was elected our president and he has shown a VALID birth certificate. Those who do not accept a VALID birth certificate are not intelligent enough to debate such issues further.

Obama's birth certificate meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship.

Obama is afraid to call out muslims. Just look at his most recent public scolding of Israel. No presidents do that but Obama is comfortable because he is sympathetic to all muslims even though they are the enemy.
