It's worth noting that Adrian Belew was interviewed at NAMM and said he was touring with "nine inch nails" this year. I'll just assume he meant HTDA, and if the rumor is true, maybe he'll be playing guitar with Trent/Atticus doing love tweaking of Belew's signal. WHICH WOULD BE AMAZING!

"Trent Reznor is returning Nine Inch Nails to the road this year. Reznor, who took a break from the band four years ago after the Wave Goodbye tour, has a new lineup ready to go.

Reznor issued an offbeat statement that says, "I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show. Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked -- which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows."

Joining Reznor and Belew in the lineup are Alessandro Cortini and Ilan Rubin, who played in the last version of the band, as well ex-Jane's Addiction bassist Eric Avery and Josh Eustis of Telefon Tel Aviv. The first shows will happen this summer, followed by an arena tour of the U.S. this fall."
