So the Woodsist Festival is going to be held at the Henry Miller Library this year. That's in Big Sur. Beautiful Big Sur.

I'm heading out to the Big Sur one, tentatively. Really bummed they went and posted about it on Pitchfork though. It's probably going to sell out or turn into some big media scene now. Should still be nice though.

That place is such an amazing venue for a show. And camping by the cliffs in the misty mist.

Why don't you say you want to take her to a romantic camping getaway for the weekend? Secretly buy tickets to this. SURPRISE!

Yo La Tengo is playing there on the 30th. Can you imagine how awesome that's going to be?

    Anyone else going this weekend?

They added a really sweet act at the bottom of the bill -- Spectre Folk -- which is a side project of Magik Markers guitarist Pete Nolan and usually features Steve Shelley (of SY) on drums. Fingers crossed that he's playing with them at this gig!
