i meant in terms of being far more likely to see them play stinkfist at any given show, it makes sober more of a treat... at least in my opinion...

well, they played stinkfist both nights. night 1 we got sober instead of ticks & leeches.

I think you'd have to go back to pre-Aenema days to find a show where Stinkfist wasn't played. I can't believe they don't just drop it already.

Why should they? It's one of their most recognizable songs. Tons of energy and always well executed. Have they played it a lot? Yes. So, it may be a little tired but it still manages to deliver.

I'll add that even though I have been calling for the heads of both Schism and 46&2 for the same reason, after the last two shows I have softened my stance a bit. I think Schism does need to be pulled but it did sound great in Tucson. And 46&2 was the best song of the night in Vegas after HwaP.

All this talk about set lists.. they're doing everything we could want them to do this time out. How can anyone complain?

You'll get no quarrel from me, sir. Reno was absolutely mind blowing. Schism and 46&2 were easily the best versions I've ever heard. I'm only saying that while those songs had new life breathed into them, stinkfist fell kind of flat. It would be great if they rotated out a different song than ticks. But, hey, just the fact that they are playing it is impressive. Beggars can't be choosers.

As long as Hooker and Ticks keep getting played, they get a full pass for playing the deep cuts. Sucks if you don't get The Pot though. Albuquerque got shorted too.
