Fuck you guys. I haven't seen them in 4 years and my fiancee has never seen them. Their last show in Vancouver, in 2006, was also one of the last shows where they played Sober and it fucking rocked. I put that show in my top 5 best shows I have ever seen. I cannot wait to see them again and my fiancee will be stoked because this will be her first time. I don't even care if the setlist is the exact same.
Onsale?
check the tool site and ticketmaster. And have fun spending $150 for 2 tickets.
Kingsblend420 put it best, "I'm like a battered wife that just keeps coming back for more."

yes they have been writing new songs since last fall.
I can't a put on a face on who told me this friend or stranger, but he told about the setlist being same thing is that they are ween out the people . Well whatever it was I was told it did at the time mend. Maybe Alex and his wife were too busy to make new visual that go in sync to their music.
that's my 2 cent on it. Plus i wont miss tool even if it is the same fucking setlist . It's better to see them now before their super fucking decrepit on their farewell tour doing all their hits.

Still going to play the same setlist, no point in going.
I bet they mix it up and add a song or two. The stage show will remain the same.

I've only seen Tool once, in '06 at the Selland Arena in Fresno and they played w/o an opener, came on almost an hour late and then just played for around an hour. I did get to hear a lot of the songs that I wanted, but the show left a sour taste in my mouth. Even so, if tickets are reasonable and the show is local, I will prolly make an effort to go this time around.
07/05 Jim Jeffries
07/26 The Postal Service and Max Cooper
8/2 & 4 Phish
8/9-11 Outside Lands and Glass Candy
08/23 MBV
09/11 AlunaGeorge
09/24 Wax Tailor
10/25-27 Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Summit
If they bust out D/R/T this tour ALL WILL BE FORGIVEN.
If they come to L.A. in mid-late July I'll cry. I'll be in Cancun for two weeks.
The last two times I've had tickets to see Tool I've been screwed out of going.

$75 for a Tool ticket would be better than what I did the last time they were closeby ..... going to watch the RedSox lose a series in Seattle.
Never again.
I'm a big enough fan so I'll see them if I can afford it, same setlist or not, but it's fucking annoying that they're touring right now instead of putting out their album. Maybe they need the money to afford equipment to record.
Ron Paul 2012!

Death Cab for Cutie/Magik Magik Orchestra
