As for DP, coachella dropped some unsubtle hints twice on twitter. Plus they debuted the Pyramid there in 2006 and booked them 14 years ago on their first US tour.

Prince was booked from day 1, but his hip surgery caused GV to hold back on announcing him in case something went wrong.

And GV drops hints about acts that dont play all the time. In 2007, the presale password was Roxanne, which as we know is also the name of a huge hit by a certain band that had reunited that year. However, said band never made an appearance. That shit had the board in a frenzy.

Every year people find ways to over justify Daft Punk playing again. This year really isnt that different.
