The White Stripes riders have been as bland and normal as most riders. Healthy food, booze, energy drinks, cigarettes. Nothing too crazy outside the occasional weird instrument request. So the idea that the rider is a sticking point is ludicrous. They allowed some French guys to test a robot light pyramid in the desert. What, they're not going to allow Jack White to hand a red and white backdrop on the stage?

he's not entirely wrong. while i have no real idea if they are playing coachella or not, they are absolutely doing something next year.

All the Clapton talk made me look up jeff beck. Goldenvoice has him playing some Californian dates in the 2nd week of April. He did Bonnaroo in 2010.

Jeff also played around LA the week of Coachella in 2009 and 2010 and I made some side trips both years.

I read through it, it seems like website filler.

The person from Complex Magazine is just making random conjectures with some random Cos quotes, not very compelling.

I don't think there's any greater or lesser chance of Bowie playing.

Actually Coachella Bound, you're the one that has no idea what you're talking about. It's common knowledge to anyone that's even a moderate Led Zep fan that they're not getting back together. Jimmy Page has publically said it several times. The O2 Arena show a couple years ago was the last one, ever.

The only thing thats really been indicated over the last few years is that Robert Plant wants to finish what he started w/ Alison Krauss. After that anything is possible.... Coachella has a way of making things happen that wouldnt ever happen anywhere else.
