i certainly hope coldplay doesn't play. they haven't had good material in 10 years. as exemplified by the fact that they were sued like 3 or 4 times on their most recent album for copyright infringement. i think they even got sued for copying a music video. talk about a complete farce of a band.

I enjoyed Viva La Vida quite a bit and they've put on a great show both times I've seen them (the second time being in a stadium setting and they absolutely killed it). I never followed any of the copyright infringement/Joe Satriani lawsuits but either way they will have a new album out by the end of this year/early next year and they're bound to headline again eventually. I'd say they're a very strong possibility. And this on the Polo Fields would be amazing

That's my thought process too. But Bowie would be like Prince. Also, I don't think AF would mind.


EDIT: That being said, Bowie won't headline and if he did then it would turn out to be AF/Bowie/Whomever

It would be nice to have Arcade Fire then Bowie. Maybe there could be some sort of colab like they have done live before.

The White Stripes would be nice, but I don't know if it would happen. Hopefully something will happen soon because of their live release.
