This thread should be split into 3 levels... Confirmed with link, rumored with link, confirmed by a member of the forum. I tend to not put too much trust into these word of mouth confirmations.
EDIT: I see you all have already had this conversation.

I too am happy that I got to see the "Sly Stone Gong Show Experience". The musical highlight of the set was after he left and the band busted into "Thank You For.." to close. Awful as it may have been it was 4 original members onstage for a full set - first public show with those 4 since 1972 or so.
AFAIK, 7 months later and he hasn't appeared in public since Coachella. I don't think promoters or even the other musicians on that stage that night will ever bother again.
Seriously? I assumed it had already been posted. The bestival powers that be said so on their board:

Now I don't want to say that video was hot, but if the boner police are here, I demand a lawyer!
derppp
Any information about Daft Punk taking the stage is good news. I would hardly call it a confirmation that they are playing Coachella, but it does not hurt the chances that it is a possibility.
Apparently Rob da Bank changed his tune via twitter:
Guess he changed his tune yet again, because said tweets have been deleted."Just to undo any rumours I'd spread about daft punk not doing any uk festivals...they may well be.. But not bestival"
followed by:
"And when I say festival I mean that in the loosest sense of the word"
Foo Fighters/Wire/Kings of Leon will be playing Isle of White 2011...any chance on any of these guys being booked for coachella? I want to see birds shit on Caleb Followill.
