Last year - from the camper entrance, first day they let people take in bottles. Second day, they were making people dump them. (but mine came through in my backpack unscathed.)

Those guys were so confused. One line was telling one group something, while another line was saying something else.

Last year- Site beforehand said no camel backs, only sealed water bottles allowed.
Day of show, they made you leave your water bottles.

Didn't this show start out in defiance of the Woodstock waterbotle 4$ a piece thing by GIVING OUT water the first year? I distinctly remember recieving a few free personally.

Last year no matter what I kept having to leave it at the gate and buy inside. arrrg

Last year we camped... waiting three hours on the Friday night to get into campground, they searched everyone and had only about 4 people doing it. We just smuggled booze into water bottles but it was a real pain in the ass. if you wanted to leave to your car and come back then you had to wait in line again if you had a bag. They would let you come and go if you didn't have anything with you. We just kept booze in our car and went out there to drink and then back inside the campground.

They day of the concert they took all water bottles away from everyone (sealed or not sealed) at the entrance we were at (campground entrance). No outside drinks at all, by the next day you could bring water bottles in though. It seemed to be the later in the day the more the let things go through.

What happened then? Seriously, the question is still valid. I still wonder things that I wondered back in the 1970s. All this wondering makes me want to listen to the Wonderstuff! GV, please book the Wonderstuff for Coachella 2010.

I needed a new heel for my shoe, so, I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt, which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. "Give me five bees for a quarter," you'd say.

If you find ten old bottles, you get a free bottle again for next year? I could not do that because I was in the front row ALL DAY and did not give up my spot.
