Oh I just remembered I saw Guedita and Frazzle just to the left of me during Wild Flag, I wanted to say hi but I felt like a creeper so I just enjoyed the great show, I think this happened with other boardies at least three of four times.

I saw Guedita Frazzles and Gribbz weekend 1. I think that might be all. We didn't really hang, but I saw them in passing.

Weekend 2 Natelevmofuggaz kicked it a bit and saw some do-lab set and Modeselektor together.

I'll try to meet up with more people next year I am just always so fucking tired when the night ends... During the fest bad phone service and an extended crew of ~30 makes it hard.

took me far too long to get this list together and posted...

new boardies

courtney: saw her at her birthday dinner, a couple times on the polo grounds, in the parking lot of the villas we stayed at, and had post-coachella brunch meal with her on monday.

greghead: met him at the lockers after friday night, he and courtney were sharing a villa, and he told me the westin had heated pools after the fact. cocksucker.

randy: i saw him last year, but didn't introduce myself. had a nice little chat by the lobster with him and courtney. we sat quietly while randy rambled. it was lovely.

rskapcat/and hubby: went over to their house after courtney's birthday dinner. learned she doesn't like children. i want to buy her a teddy ruxpin that plays "a triple six turtle christmas"

captain/somewhat damaged: met them at becca's house. nice white people, but i was afraid to make a wrong move. she could totally take me in the octagon. saw them at a couple of sets. pretty sure i saw them in the do lab, also.

mountmccabe/fiancee: met at the house party. not too much interaction between us. saw at a couple of sets.

pixiessp: also at the house party. after looking over my list from last year, i apparently had met her then. guessing it was at pj harvey.

playadelwes/wifey: met them while checking into the westin. had a drink with them and buddy, then ran off to dinner.

buddy: we split the villa that i bought off of playa. he got the couch. soft spoken guy. very nice, even though he's a red sox fan.

sonofhal: was at the dinner. saw him a couple of times on the polo grounds. still owes me a whitney houston cover. but he's british, so gets some slack.

nathanfairchild: i am certain he was stalking me over the weekend. everywhere i turned it seemed he was there. and everytime i saw him, i had a nearly uncontrollable urge to go to walmart, buy a hairbrush and attack him with it. that briar-patch on your head was driving me insane.

redhotsgtpeppers: met him at mazzy star. stayed for explosions in the sky on his recommendation. saw him a few more times over the course of coachella. quite possibly the most adorable boardie i've met.

gribbz: met him at real estate, i think. he was trying to make the air around him flammable from the flask he was drinking from with greghead and cara. unfortunately he had a shirt on, so i couldn't see his shag carpet of a chest.

gunz/hubby/hubby's friend: met her by the merch tent friday night.

menik: ran into him briefly. introduced myself, shook his hand, and took off. sorry i didn't stay longer to chat. looking back my demeanor seemed to be a bit rude. i apologize.

koryp/wifey: met him inbetween sets. shorter than what i had imagined.

neighborhoodcreep/stinkbutt: previously met them last year at roo/nashville. official polo grounds meet this year.

paulb: met him in the main food court after dre/snoop. had a nice little chat. his feet were killing him. he ran off to meet up with his wife.

hairygoomba: met her inbetween sets. nice lady.

mja: he was on the ground talking to frazz, courtney, captain, somewhat damaged when i first saw him, but i didn't know who he was. truly met him as i was walking away from amon tobin. courtney pulled me over to introduce us. saw him a couple of times over the weekend. with his glasses on, all i could think of was:

i saw frazzles (i think) at seun kuti. we've never been formally introduced but he was part of the high contrast t-shirt brigade last year. felt like a weirdo to just suddenly come up on him.

This weekend I met a few of ya:

Drewski, TheKlein (loved that you wore a Blink shirt), RedHot, ThatGirl, CapnCrazy for a brief sec at the meet-up. TomAZ too (which was kinda awkward somehow aha). I saw Amy but one of her kids was leeched onto her leg looking really sad so idk it was just wasn't gonna work.

It was nice meeting/hanging with you Chris (TallGuy), and Josh (Rage)!!

I didn't get to go to the board photo because I was all the way out in lot 4 and I didn't get there in time, but I should be there for the weekend 2 meetup

I met NachoCat thursday night and we were just down the street from each other. we walked around the grounds together thursday night and explored.

I also finally met Robin after we camped across the street from each other and didn't know it until last year was over. we turned out to be neighbors again and our groups really intermingled with each other.

Faxman joined our camping group at very the last minute when I realized we were in line at the same time.
