I can't even begin to list all the people I met. Regardless, it was very nice to see everyone and I would absolutely be happy to see any or all of you again should you ever come to Seattle.
I too cannot make a list because I wouldn't know where to start, but I echo Corinna's statement of satisfaction and would happily meet any one of you for a drink if you should find yourself in Portland.
He probably disliked those of us that he met at Deer Tick so much that there was no desire to visit our encampment even with the promise of free beer and Marc's wet nipples.
I was honestly too exhausted to head to any campsite at the end of the night. It was nice meeting the majority of the men and women I flirt with on tinychat.
I feel like there should be a thread of people you're upset about not seeing at all / not seeing enough.
Met for the first time:
Drinky, Boourns, Zenidogx, Weeklymix, Emtgreg, Donaldj, Chia, 1litro, How to Disappear, Unknown, Theclaires(both), Suprefan, Msparks, Tallguy, Dale Gribble, MountMcCabe, Mattpach, Caco, Cubrocker, Ivankay, Casey, Headstruck, Brokendoll, Suffacated, SonofHal, Captncrzy, SomewhatDamaged, Blackswan,
Boardies I had the pleasure of seeing again this year:
Rskapcat(Becca)and honorary boardie(the husband), Tommy,Jazzz, Amyzzz, Loca, Ally, Brandon, TomAz,
Miscorrections, GenoGuerrero, Mr. Nipples, RagePatton, Faxy.
People I thought I would see but....
Dylanja, SfChrissy, Hannah, Forza, Boarderwoozel.
I think I saw Shakermaker.
I am quite certain I missed someone. Sorry. I am still super tired and it was a crazy weekend.
I would have said hi to more if they didn't run away when I introduced myself.
I wouldn't have run away if I hadn't already been running towards something when you introduced yourself.
Yes, pre-Pavement. I'm just giving you crap. I was in just a hurry looking for my friend. Nevertheless, good seeing you.
Here's who I encountered:
Randy and Ivy - both fucking awesome. Wish we could have spent more time together, but I was having trouble with connections on Sunday, both cellphone and neuron-wise.
Daft Fro - first official winner of a frozen lemonade, even though he fucking found me on the wrong day.
Tupper - You are the fucking best.
Paulb - totally chill dude.
Salah - sweaty manhug
Boarderwoozel - I advised him that Deadmau5 was fucking killing it.
Suprefan - totally sweet, guided me to the board group at Proxy which was TallGuy, Feather, djandrew, and some other ragers.
Drinkey and Brandon and muthafuckin' Ronnie before Fever Ray - all totally nice.
Becca - totally nice. miscorrections, Ally, and Hannah - I feel bad because I had to get in to see Wolfgang Gartner but you all appear to rock.
kingsblend 420 - seemed nice enough
Hand Banana in line on Friday - fucking great because the night before I had told my friends about the "Tiesto Touched My Butthole" shirts and then we were standing in line talking about Tiesto and this dude behind us goes "You know, I actually created a shirt that said Tiesto Touched My Butthole" and I was like Boom! Bazooka Joe! Now that's serendipity, bitch.
Dale Gribble, Rage Patton, mattpatch and some others before Orbital - all completely sick.
Guedita - totally nice and cute.
People I regrettably did NOT encounter this year: Trick Loves The Kids, betao, and Calmer Than You. I blame Coachella being such a crowded fucking shitshow this year.
Sorry if I was too awkward! I just had to stop and say something...
I managed to catch Drinkey walking through the Mojave while I was waiting at the soundboard for Fever Ray, I tried to call out but it fell upon crowd noise.
"Give me women, wine and snuff
Until I cry out 'hold, enough!"
Well, I'm not going to list people I saw again (and had met before) because that's over 100 people from previous Coachellas, other festivals, SF shows and such.
But the new ones I met this weekend: TomAZ, pixiessp, mountmccabe, hannah, forza, kylie/kennedysaffairs, stinkbutt, casey, miss erikaaa, rskapcat, tallguy, zimmy, sdsoldier, theclares (both of them), caco, brokendoll, jclemy, full on idle, captncrazy's guy whose board name escapes me, wes (though I'm not sure WHICH of the board wes's it was), and I'm pretty sure Mr. Nipples as Jesus?
There are more... a LOT of "Matt"'s that I never matched up to board names. And there were a blur of people by the Sahara sign before Orbital, and once inside, and I don't remember specifics because I was pretty single-mindedly focused on Orbital starting in a few minutes.
I am a little bummed that there are a few people in the board picture that I wanted to meet and somehow didn't see even though they were a few feet from me! And similarly at Orbital, I must have been right next to some of you.
And yes, Mark, sadly, I was not at Fever Ray. I gave up trying to fight my way back towards that side of the venue. I regret it but I hear Scott got a great video of the entire set.
Edited to add: at every single set I went to, I easily found a group of board people. Sometimes up to 20 people clustered together. You rule. It made the weekend all the more fun.

You probably made the right decision. We're horribly unfriendly people, Corinna and I.
Hannah was a lot more friendly in-person than I expected. I even got a hug.
