anyone have advice on how to remove the green clip? opening up was easy enough but im struggling to remove the tack. i would prefer to safety pin this thing together a little more tightly so it stops getting in my food.

it took a little while of finagling with it but i finally got it off. stuck the file from a set of nail clippers underneath it and pretty much broke it. my wristband is now happily tied to my wrist once again in a more comfortable fashion

How is it not hygienic? Hot water and soap in the shower do the same thing as washing your clothes. My wrist sweats a lot less than the rest of my body. If anything, clothes are less hygienic.

I think Baily meant it was designed so that the tack can't be unfastened without destroying it. Coachella obviously didn't want us removing our wristbands, so they made the clasp such that if you wanted to remove it, you would have to destroy it to remove it, rendering it useless at the festival. Of course it can be undone. But you'd have to break it.

I had mine on until this past Wednesday. I had to take it off to get a massage. Once it came off, it didn't seem right to put it back on. It was just tied on, so it may go back on but probably not.

It's just really faded and frayed. There is a very minuscule amount of dirt stuck between the two plastic layers, but that's about it. It showered every time I took a shower, which was usually every day.
