I kept my Daft Punk ruby slipper red wristband on for at least a month after their LA show and I still have it

Mine broke off around January. It was almost unrecognizable as a Coachella bracelet, as all the purple faded to white, and the black ink wasn't far off. The outer layer delaminated and separated from the clear inner layer, then the outer layer broke and hung down about 10 inches. It looked pathetic.

As for other fest bracelets, I still have my Moogfest 2010 bracelet on since that fest, as it has lasted. My Musicfest NW 2010 broke about a week after that fest ended, my Decibel Fest 2010 was a nice fabric one so I loosened it with a straw & can now take it off & on as I please. Lollapalooza 2010 kept its color but the material let go. That one made it to December, just fell off one day in the shower.

Nice to know that there are some fellow nerds out there. I've been wearing this thing for a year and you can tell. It's pretty much exactly how you described it - purple faded to white, black is almost all off now too. Outer layer is separating. It's still in tact though.

I removed the plastic chip part and the green clip; then I added velcro to the ends, so I could remove it when I want. I probably won't take it off till next year. I'm still waiting for a random person to recognize it. I read some story about someone getting out of a parking ticket 'cause the metermaid noticed his camping pass.

I kept 2010's on my wrist all year and took it off Monday after this year's. It was ceremonial. This year's came off about a week after the festival. I wasn't going to go through that whole thing again.

I truly don't know why I still have my band on after 3 weeks. Maybe because of all the hassle just prior to the fest with shipping and shit?
