Default The Mojave was by far the best tent this year.

This is the first year out of five that I spent the most amount of time in the mojave (about 10-11 hours). It really felt like the stage crew had its shit together, the sound guys were excellent. The crowds weren't ever really too bad, if it was bad there was still room to get through to a nice spot.

La Roux, Imogen and Fever Ray was an awesome Friday that I won't probably forget any time soon.

I didn't see La Roux but Imogen and Fever Ray were incredible.

Devo demolished the Mojave on Saturday and the energy during Miike Snow on Sunday was great.

Grizzly Bear and Dirty Projectors were my main Mojave acts. Both were overwhelmingly impressive and beautiful.

I spent the most time in the Mojave tent also. Gotta give it to the stage crew and sound guys... they were on the ball. Super impressed with them and GV for such a great lineup in the Mojave tent!

The sound for Fever Ray was immaculate.

I'm gonna have to disagree. The sound up close in front or on the side of the soundboard was great but once you got to the halfway point of the soundboard or behind, it sounded like shit. Stepped in for Mute Math and I almost left the set because it sounded so bad in the back but decided to move up by the front of the SB. Sound was much better. Unfortunately I had too many people with me for Miike Snow and we all left because the sound was god awful just behind the soundboard to the left. They need to put speakers in the back like they do for the Gobi and Sahara

I spent most of my time in the Mojave and was surprised by the sound improvements over years past.

The Mojave definitely had many of the best acts of the weekend, but I'll agree the sound was atrocious for Miike Snow making that show a huge letdown. Most everything else was great though.

Was this the first year they had extra speakers at the back of the tents facing out? They made a huge difference for acts like Grizzly Bear who I missed the beginning of.
