Seriously. I think that was a clutch ingredient in making that probably one of my top performances of all time.
    G-funk acquired, thank you Coachella

I wish I could've been on acid just to see that part where Murdoc jokes about getting that guy 3 hits.

I was sober and I thought it was easily one of the best sets of the weekend.

I'm personally glad they didn't play Dare. I think that's my least favorite Gorillaz song.
HELLO? They DID play Plastic Beach. They OPENED THE SET WITH IT with Snoop on the stage for crying out loud. Did you miss the opening or do you have corn cobs in your eyes?

Your wrong about Dare being your least favorite song, like it or hate it, it's one of their best and should've played it.

so, as someone who never really listened to the gorillaz i quite enjoyed them. perhaps because i was not expecting much but i really really enjoyed it. so much so that i sought out their music once i got home. It wasnt epic by any means but it was groovey and weird and enjoyable.

"Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach" and "Plastic Beach" are two different tracks you fucking halfwit.

You're avoiding the question. Do you or do you not have corn cobs in your eyes.

Seriously? This is still being debated? Look, I get long arguments about albums. You can take those viewpoints and listen to the album again and again, try to see the other side. With a live show, with THIS live show, it's a one-time deal. Those of us who loved the show won't convince anyone who didn't that they're wrong, and vice versa.

That said, I love how people are complaining about canned vocal tracks (on what, four or five songs?) when Jay-Z used canned vocal tracks all over the place. I love how people are complaining that the main visual component being music videos, when that is essentially what Roger Waters did (with lasers and a balloon, yes, but a downgrade in the actual musicians, whereas Gorillaz was Damon Albarn leading The Clash playing Gorillaz songs). I love how people who sat back by the food tents have complained about them not sounding good.

I dunno. Lots of the arguments seem hypocritical to me. Can't we leave it simply as: I loved the shit out of it, some hated the shit out of it, and that's just how some shows go?

(Just kidding. Agreeing to disagree is no fun at all.)

People are complaining that they are the released MTV videos of the songs, not that the visuals were videos on a screen.

Kind of a massive difference in laziness.

That needs to be sig'd! And I completely agree with you though. I absolutely loved the Gorillaz, excluding the abrupt ending
