SOUNDGARDEN PLAYING SECRET REUNION SHOW TONIGHT

Tonight. of all fucking nights. at the showbox in seattle. im DEVASTATED that it couldnt be any other weekend of the year. here is the "official" word on tonights show

The rumor mill is churning.

Hard.

Numerous sources say that the Soundgarden boys are playing a SECRET show at the Showbox Market tomorrow (4.16) night.

This was also just confirmed by billboard.com

Here’s what we know

1) there is NO other show scheduled for the Market for that night

2) Chris Cornell just tweeted: “Beautiful spring day in Seattle. Cherry trees drooping under the wieght of huge blossoms. Evil is lurking somewhere. I can feel it.”

3) The “show” may be a private party, and some sort of “filming” is supposed to be happening

**we are trying to get in touch with the Showbox people now, if we get any more solid info, we’ll be all over it

Got this e-mail from the band... too bad they're sold out, and Coachella is on.

Frustrating that they obviously could have been gotten for Coachella, since the band is ready to play.

Soundgarden tonight and The Posies play "Frosting On The Beater" tomorrow. Both in Seattle and both with easy access jet to down to Coachella as replacement for volcano challenged rock stars.

This whole process was complete and utter bullsh!t.

I went down to the Showbox Market's box office super early this morning, waited until 9:15am when an employee told the line that tix would only be made available to the fan club, which I have been a member of since the day Soundgarden announced their reunion, I rushed home through Friday traffic to be home by the 10am onsale, sat on Nudedragon's (Soundgarden anagram) TM listing anxiously refreshing the page and awaiting my fan club email, all to no avail. Instead only very few people got the emails, since the fan club in their infinite wisdom staggered the deliveries, and by the time I got the correct Nudedragon listing and password the tix had already been sold out.

My email from the fanclub came in at 1:09pm, 3 hours after the tix had sold out...so like I said complete and utter bullsh!t.
