Does this mean they're a shoe-in for the Polo Fields in the Spring?
I would never want to belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member...

If they play I hope they stay far away from Outdoor. After seeing them in Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn I was so stoked to see them at Coachella, but they fell so flat (as some of you have been talking about in this thread).

They are awesome in a small venue, partly because they are so dreary and British, but none of that translates to a huge outdoor venue in the sun. They only wear black for god sakes. They didn't say a word to the crowd in Brooklyn either, but it just kind of worked! At Coachella, not so much.

Oliver did make a small exception to point out that the Coachella stage's roof was on fire.

If there's no awful buzzing noise coming from the bass amp next time it'll be a success.

I cannot wait for this. Some of the stuff they started to add to their sets right before they stopped touring was sounding incredibly good, and I had no idea what any of it was.

I've got a feeling this will top the first record.

I literally fell asleep during their 2010 performance. I'll watch them again if it's in a tent/at night.

    You are such a punk.

It's a shame that this, also, will never be as good as the first time. He's been board-ized now.

EDIT: I would like to see what new courses he's taken though.

What really gets me excited about this is everything Jamie did in between the two albums. He's definitely hit a new level in his producing, and we'll probably be hearing a lot of that new skill on this album.

For me xx was the biggest disappoinment of '10. I loved their album, but for some reason; the sound, the venue, the time slot, but I also think the band was off their game that day, the performance fell flat. I'd give them another go if I get the chance, but if they come back to Coachella, please make sure the sound is working properly, and slate them late, really late.
Even though I look it, I'm not a cop.

the one time i saw them was some time ago for a double bill with the friendly fires. if i would've been sitting down, i would've definitely fallen asleep.

i had no idea who they were, but thought their name was cool because it was lower case letters. awaiting for friendly fires, my adrenaline was raising, and all they succeeded in doing was putting me to sleep. my friend really liked them because the singer is a very butchy looking girl.

the sonics in the album are so demure that the get lost if the acoustics are not good in their respective venue.

i'll see them again if there aren't any conflicts and if they are in an appropriate stage and time for their sound.

They were so incredibly bad at coachella 2010. i loved the record, but their performance was terrible. I walked away from the set 3/4 in.

One you realize that both of them sing with lisps (particularly the girl) then you pretty much can't ever enjoy their music again.

Pretty sure I saw them at the same show...was it at the Music Box? I enjoyed listening to their set at that show, but I do agree that it was a very odd pairing.

Did I say accent? No. Did I say slang? No. Did I say dialect? No. Did I say etc? No. I said LISP. I know the fucking difference. That chick has a speech impediment.
