Uffie and Scars on Broadway. Ugh.
Shout out to Morrissey and Shepard Fairey.

nthing Scars on Broadway and Audio Bullys
I'd put BRMC too but it wasn't really their fault. I'm probably biased though cause I love that band.
Ariel Pink was such a magical trainwreck that I can't bring myself to put here really.
M.I.A. No doubt about it.
I'm tempted to start a thread called "Stay positive - Tell me everything you hate about Coachella"
agree with consensus re air and morrissey, the latter hugely disappointing but somehow not surprising.
definitely disagree about crystal castles, they blow it up live every time. will def go see them again. i think the detractors probably don't care for their music in the first place.
i thought the bug was horrible last year
I was REALLY disappointed with the Breeders last year [or was that 08?] They just seemed completely dead up there, like the heat zapped their energy and they were barely performing.
Oh and I wasn't feeling Justice 08
Uffie......Seriously what the fuck was that? Also agreed with Crystal Castles' set, I liked the album and the music was solid but Alice Glass needs to learn how to hold a mic or stop doing so much cocaine before a show.
MIA on the main last year
I saw The Bug open for NIN, holy shit was that boring.
Jeff Goldblum for main stage 2012.
Crystal Castles are great in the studio and just god awful live. I just don't understand why she thinks she has to destroy her voice like that. It doesn't add anything, it just completely wrecks the songs. You can jump up and down and still sing properly for fuck's sake.
The worst act I ever stayed for the whole set was Audio Bullys since I was waiting for Daft Punk. The worst act I left after two minutes was Shepard Fairey.
I know this is a really old thread, but I stumbled on it by accident. I'd like to stay positive and say that I'm really really happy I won't have to see Michael Franti again.
MGMT, most boring band live, crowd was lame too
Some of you are confusing worst performance bands with bands that are simply just not your taste.
Has to be the Sly Stone fiasco last year. Not sure if you can ever term this a "performance". My friends and I were sitting in the tent waiting for Sly Stone come out when all of a sudden all the hipsters let out an "Ahhhhh!!!!" of disappointment. Sly never performed...hipsters were pissed!
Ariel Pink '08 was a train wreck. Probably the worst I've seen.
Sleigh Bells last year gives Crystal Castles a run for their money.
If we're lucky something will happen. Some adversity will happen and something unexpected will happen and you'll get tired and you'll get hungry, you'll have trouble going to the bathroom, and you'll lose your car keys, and all these wonderful things will add up to some powerful experience that 10 years from now we'll say "We lived, we lived." - Wayne Coyne on Coachella
