If this is an attempt to discourage people from waiting to see these "crap" bands, by all means continue. I prefer not to fight for the front.

I'm sure that every band at Coachella will draw a crowd, but these are the act that I'll be avoiding, not to call them "crap" necessarily, but I definitely don't have to worry about conflicts from:
Nickel Creek
Jack's Mannequin
Circa Survive
Fair to Midland
The Frames
The Feeling
Amos Lee
Julieta Venegas
that "no list" is most of my "yes list". you know what's also my yes list? the whole fucking poster.
i'd be happy if i got to see every single act there. it'll be tough to limit my choices. seriously, none of the bands there are all that crappy, otherwise they wouldn't be playing such an amazing festival like coachella. if you want crappy bands, stay home and go to your local bar.
if you just paid as $500+ to go to coachella, i hope you wanted to see more than 3 bands. i know everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but if i hated so many bands on the lineup, i would've stayed my ass at home, instead of paying a lot of money just so i had the right to get online every night and bitch about the lineup.
carpe diem.
Why are you even going to Coachella if you dont like any of these bands listed above? Have you seen Anathallo live? Holy shit they are amazing, I was fortunite enough to book them in 2003 and they blew me away. Do you even know who Roky Erickson is? Black Keys are one of the best live performances around right now, you better see them before they break up like every other good band out there.
WELL I GOTTA SAY DAY 1 Nobody.. other days ehh...
"Yeah chicks go nuts for that... the male camel toe."
"Yea yea! The camel tail."

Konono No. 1 are rad! I cannot wait to see them. Are you sure you listened to the right band?
Also, why Roky Erickson? Why? What did he ever do to you?
Against Me!? Listen to their oooold stuff. Thier acoustic/folk/punk stuff.
Ugh so many others that are actually good...
There are actually only TWO bands I dont like at all on this entire bill
Circa Survive and Jack Mannequin
It's all opinion. My criteria is that I listened to every band I didn't know and created a no, maybe, yes list. I listened to AT LEAST 7-8 songs per band, and many of them I saw live thanks to YouTube and other sites. I do this every year in order to know who I want to see. Who I want see. More bang for my buck.
I'm sure I've seen shows that have blown my mind, but someone here would think was crap.
Here's my Maybe and Yes lists, there's plenty to keep my entertained without wasting a minute on bands I don't like. Didn't say they were crap, just not my style. I won't even be able able to see everyone on my yes list.
In no particular order.

Jesus and Mary Chain
Interpol
Bjork (seen her before)
Red Hot Chili Peppers(seen twice before)

I wish there was more crap bands so i wouldn't have to inevitably choose over two bands I want to see... conflicts are a bitch.
Damn, three people with lists, fifty people whining about the lists.

I agree with shotglass 75. For me Kings of Leon are the band that I am most excited about seeing on Saturday. Even if they conflict with Arcade Fire, I will go see Kings of Leon instead. I listen to KOL's 2nd album constantly, and love the rockin' energy of that album. Can't wait to finally see them live!
Instead of doing a 'NO LIST', I would rather contribute something positive to the board and do a 'YES LIST'. Here goes:
YES LIST:
Rage Against the Machine
Kings of Leon
Sonic Youth
Air
Silversun Pickups
Peeping Tom
Willie Nelson
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Arcade Fire
Bjork
Black Keys
Peaches
MAYBE:
Stephen Marley
Interpol
the Good, the Bad, the Queen
the Roots
the Lemonheads
Gillian Welch
Crowded House
an electronica act or two (not really my thing, but I'm curious)
If I get to see the majority of the bands on my 'Yes' list, then my own personal Coachella experience will be worth it; so there is no need for me to complain about the other bands present that I don't want to see. If other people are having a good time watching other bands that I don't listen to/ don't like, then so be it. That will just more room for me to get up front to see Sonic Youth, Kings of Leon, or Willie.![]()
(Now the real conflict for me is not going to be at this year's Coachella, but at Bonnaroo....the Roo has more of my favorite rock bands playing then Coachella does, and hopefully they won't conflict with one another's set times. But that's a whole other thread.)

I felt like I'd just watched something culturally significant. Actually, Nirvana came to mind. I hope this is Arcade Fire's coming out party.
1-9. RHCP
10. Lily Allen
Sorry, that's all I got.
Since you are obviously a RATM and I will assume also a hard rock fan, who exactly are you interested in seeing at Coachella other then RATM?
Don't get me wrong....RATM are the main reason that I am going to this year's fest; but as a rock music fan, i am also excited to see several of the bands that you have listed as 'CRAP'. So I am just curious what another RATM fan is into seeing at Coachella.

Are the Arctic Monkeys that crappy? I've never seen them live, but they won all sorts of popularity awards in the UK this year, so I'm curious to see how good or shitty they really are.
I'll bet the place will be jumping when they play this number:
