I did a search for Mew and nothing came up. I'm sure someone's going to point to one of the gajillion Mew threads but I didn't see any. Or I'm blind.

My friend said he saw Mew recently and they were one of the best live acts he's ever seen. He thinks he's quite the musical connoisseur, though he's more like a delusional dipshit half the time, so I'm taking his opinion with a grain of salt.

I have been listening to their latest CD a lot lately and like it a lot. Anyone else recommend catching Mew's set?

Mew live is fairly rare, look at their tour dates http://www.mewsite.com/events

so I will definitely try to see at least some of their set

Same here, I don't know em well but from what I've heard I like, maybe even love. There are so many rare acts this year though it's hard to keep justifying watching a band just because they're rare.

yeah i really love their music, but i've seen videos and heard from other people that their live shows aren't that great. that was a few years ago though, when glass handed kites came out, so i'm assuming and would hope that they are pretty good live by now. i am definitely going to check them out, just really hoping they are good

They are one of the bands I am looking forward to seeing. I hadn't even noticed that they were on the line up til very recently and I got super excited. It was like finding money in a pair of jeans you hadn't worn in a long time. I also hear that they are great live.

There seem to be a lot of open blocks in Saturday's schedule. Plus, they're still on the poster and the date remains on Mew's Myspace page. Fingers crossed...

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the set times, other than the Phoenix & Miike Snow conflict.

Actually, if you click the 11:30 link, it takes you to the one I posted.
And that'd be pretty sweet if it was some campground set up, but I'm sure there's plenty of people who aren't camping that want to see them. I just hope this is all some small oversight.

Yeah, I understand they're connected, I just can't figure out why they would have two times listed.

Also worth pointing out - they haven't been yanked from the poster. That might just be a matter of GV not being able to get around to an edit, but worth noting.
