aSMZ are playing Mexico City on 9/30, so I can't see why they wouldn't do a West Coast tour before/after that.

I'm somewhat partial to the newer bands with the contemporary material... as long as the material is good, which it is very good... but most people have probably been able to see ASMZ by now.

I could be wrong, but last time I saw them was well after Horses in the Sky came out when they played in 2006

Snap, y'alls right. Apparently the ATP set in '08 was their first as this new, different, non-Tralala band. I stand corrected. (And, that means I've never seen old Silver Mt. Zion, but new Silver Mt. Zion was some pretty powerful stuff. Mike and I watched their soundcheck for quite awhile before a security guard realized we didn't work with ATP.)

I dunno...I have a some bootlegs, and on a lot of them, you can hear people talking all the time....really sucks. At least they don't stop the show like Dead Can Dance would.

people talked a fair amount when i saw them... it was a pretty serious bummer. then again, i didn't even really know who they were... so i wasn't super bothered... they still ruled though.
