thanks for the tips guys. first time camper and just sealed up my bag! there were a lot of things i would have otherwise forgotten
Duct tape! that's a good one,that'll be a last minute throw-in!
I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
"Condoms
Ibuprofen
Duct Tape
Sleeping pills
Towels"
The fact that you thought of all these in consecutive order creeps me out a little... xP
Just kidding, but yeah you should put your tickets first on the list!!!
And this post really helped in the sense that I was planning on living off PB&J for the weekend, gotta think of something quick!
i always take some random thing--a few of them
cloths pins, a sharpie...bungee cords. things like that
Coachella '10, '11, '12 (w2), '13 (w1), and hopefully every one after
"I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water."
Ray Charles
Wow old bump. But I second the addition of sunscreen and earplugs to the original list.
Last year we took my friend's truck, so I didn't think about this issue, but this year, I'm driving up a second car for a second space, so I thought I would confirm.
In addition to all of the items I keep in my car (tire inflater, flashlight, jumper cables, water, etc.) I keep a set of flares in my car. I never take them out since I'm terrible at remembering to put them back in the car. However, I am kind of assuming these would not get through security at Coachella. Anyone have experience with flares (or similar items) being taken away?
you'll be fine ... just don't bust them out during the fest or in the campgrounds. My buddy had a full emergency kit in his truck and security didn't even look in it.
I suppose that if they did find them though that they could end up taking them away since flares could cause a lot of problems in the wrong hands.
They're not worth too much (I think like $5), so I'll probably just bring them and if they take them away, oh well. I bet it all depends on the security guard you get.
My list is mostly the same but a little different:

Passport, for international travellers. No need for any of this stuff if they don't let you on the plane...
from my experience with bonnaroo on the ice, def. come in with your stuff on ice but budget about 10 dollars a day for ice if you can, no point to take up space that could be beer or something better then ice that ll melt anyanys. also if you bring a frisbee that lights up bring extra batteries for it.
