KROQ Weenie Roast 2010

i know this is not one of the most popular fests to go to, but occasionally they pull in some pretty good bands. i've been trying to figure out dates/lineup based off their playlist, but haven't got any confirmed info.

seems like rise against would play, being that they rape the hell out of them on air

any leads out there?

went last year and the travis/dj am set was pretty awesome, but had to sit through some crap

They rape the hell out of Rise Against at their festivals too, not just on the air. I think they've played 4/5 of their most recent Weenie Roasts/Almost Acoustics.

they have played the last 3 acoustic christmases so im sure pretty sure they will be at weenie roast this year

They usually announce this thing exactly a week after Coachella. I can't see how it'll be worth going to this year though.

My guesses for Weenie Roast performers are STP, Deftones, Chevelle, Rise Against, Sublime with Rome, The Dirty Heads, Silversun Pickups, Phoenix, MGMT, LCD Soundsystem (last year, 5 Coachella bands all played the Weenie Roast a month later)

Quit bumping this thread. Wiki posts are always false about KROQ lineups, they had Pearl Jam headlining both nights of Almost Acoustic Xmas last year which of course never happened.

KROQ has been playing Passion Pit and Spoon all of a sudden in the last couple of weeks so I think we can pencil them into the lineup. The Temper Trap seems like a lock too since they've been overplaying Sweet Dispositions, especially since it looks like Weenie Roast is delayed to June instead of May so the band will be in US rather than Europe.


The other Coachella bands I was guessing a month ago earlier in this thread (Phoenix, MGMT, LCD Soundsystem) surely won't be playing after they've announced their own local shows since then.

who was the headliner last year? Travis Barker and DJ AM? Weezer? did they even get a full set?

I went in 08 and had a blast... hopefully 2010 can have a few decent names...if not, no biggie.
