companion parking question

Floyd, I would expect companion parking to fill up incredibly quickly. I would suggest having the companion vehicle there on Thursday afternoon (as early as possible) if you want a spot for it.

Do we need a camping pass to park in the companion parking spot? We're arriving earlier than our friends(who has the camping pass) to secure a parking spot!

I think if that were the case the FAQ would have said so. They're pretty good about that kind of thing.

think of the word companion as a clue. you're meeting somebody. somebody already in the campgrounds, for example. It's not just a lot for people with cars who want to camp in tent only. It would make no sense to require a camping pass. As for the other part - that's exactly what will happen. Don't over think it.

I'm annoyed by how little information there is on this. There's like 2 sentences on it. All we know is that it will fill up quickly, we can only remove cars from this lot during certain hours, and it's super far from the campgrounds. That's it. So are people who get there after it has already filled up SOL?
