How is camping going to work this year? Wristbands? Anybody gets in?

Hiya, newb here.

We've camped in years past, and planned on doing so this year, but have since found other accommodations. So we're giving our camping pass to some friends who needed one. But we're wondering, with the new rules about leaving/entering the venue and campgrounds during the day, as well as not needing one camping ticket per person, would it be possible for us to chill at their campsite during the day if we weren't camping?

Are there going to be wristbands like in years past? If we go into the campsite with them on thursday, can we get said wristbands too? Or are there not even gonna be wristbands?

Also, does giving up our camping passes mean we lose out on all the fun early stuff planned for campers, or do the rule changes let anybody in?

Not tryin' to cheat the system, just tryin' to figure out how it works this year. Any advice would be much appreciated!
