I just wanted to say that Girl Talk was super OUTRAGEOUS and so much fun last year. My band of ladies and I got down with Gareth and Neil from Los Camesinos! it was an absolute blast. I hope all you haters were having fun listening to minimalist techno or deep house or whatever you're into, but it seemed like most of the people in the tent were having a great time.


As for similar acts. I think most people are on target when they say Z-Trip and 2manydjs, but all 3 have their differences.

Girl Talk certainly does not have the skillz that soulwax or ztrip have, in the traditional sense, but when he is on, for my money they can't touch him. Just a lot more sheer joy and energy. Everyone has different taste, but Girl Talk is unique. That being said, if you like Girl Talk jiggawatt, ztrip and 2manydjs will blow your mind.

I'll add Craze, Klever, and Diplo (Major Lazer) to the list of djs that will please the ears of those who enjoy girltalk. less mashups/party jams and obviously more emphasis on the turntablism aspect but I would deff check them out if you are into girltalk. On top of 2manydj's and z-trip of course.
