Arctic Monkeys!!!!!

Ive been going through alot of these posts seeing alot of bashing on RATM and RHCP and other but I haven't seen anyone talking about how awsome it is that the Arctic Monkeys are playing this year. Not only is it so much that they haven't playd in america for more than 1 month but it is rumored that they have a new cd coming out 3 days before coachella. what im trying to get at here is that they are my favorite band and IMHO the best band out of all 3 nights playing can i get some support from some AM fans!

the first album translated well at the koolhaus, plus they've been through the english festival circuit so they should be battle hardened. Looking forward to favourite worst nightmare.

I agree, I saw them at the Wiltern with We Are Scientists. I thought they put on a really good show. (I wrote about this in another post somewhere). Deja vu...

I haven't seen anything by the Arctic Monkeys that I can diferentiate from the "Monkey" Monkeys. I'd be interested in seeing any videos.

I honestly think they are nothing special, at all. They kinda suck actually. Never seen them live, but I hear split opinions about thier live act. I will for sure be catching some one else. Or perhaps they will give up thier spot on the second line to Tom Waits or The Mars Volta...?

I saw them last year in Sydney, and it was good fun.
They are kids telling cheeky stories and rocking out - can't expect complex from teenagers.
I'm keen to hear the new tracks also - see how 20 year olds write tunes.

actually the arctic monkeys album was like in every 'best of 2006' magazine article... i think they're sooooo overrated.... but maybe i'll give them a chance live

There is nothing original about them but they are a lot of fun and decent live. I like them.

I saw them live last year and was pretty unimpressed. There's no way in hell anyone that young should be so completely jaded already.
