Chem Bros are in Australia mid March and don't have anything after. It could happen.
...
Beastie Boys are headliners, wrong to believe otherwise.
yeah, i would figure that, in addition to having earned it, they would headline out of respect and celebration of Yauch's glorious recovery.
if I was a betting man, I would wager Coachella does some duo headliner spots for 2011. But I am probably wrong. I don't see the BBs headlining and I don't see Daft Punk subbing and I know Arcade Fire are not subbing.
Beastie Boys could play in the Muse slot and Daft Punk in the Tiesto spot.
great...there's another 75k people that day then.
Here's a thought, and this is only a flight of lunatic fancy, I have absolutely nothing of substance to back this up, but it's a thought nonetheless; I saw an interview with Arcade Fire a while back where the interviewer asked them if there was anybody living or dead they'd like to perform with. Aside from mentioning that they'd been hoping to tour with Jay Reatard before his untimely passing, they went on to vaguely suggest that they'd been trying to set up some kind of something with Neil Young.
