Apparently Ron Wood says that The Rolling Stones will all get together to confer on what the itinerary will look like for 2011 and that they should "know something by December". It's not necessarily an indicator at this point, but personally, it raises the question of whether they'd be a priority headliner or possibly a part of Paul Tollett's contingency plan of some sort - I reckon since they've yet to headline that they're considered in any case event.

They are a very slow moving machine. If they are meeting in December, that means Fall tour at the earliest or maybe even to begin plotting a 50th Anniversary tour in 2012.

Preparations for the last few tours began about a year in advance.

pretty sure. Gary Numan and The Cribs said that they'd like to return. OMD was "in talks" according to Spin. And Danny Devito suggested that It's Always Sunny could do something. And some guy on here says that the Klaxons are playing.

But Nosaj Thing is the first legitimate confirmation, it appears.
