well, there are many artists who go on arena tours and also go to the berkeley greek. take Tom Petty for instance, or The Beastie Boys. I don't see it as too farfetched, and its not like the stage is too horribly small to fit in a big stage production

There are gaps inbetween the major market dates. New York has a 3 day gap, Chicago has a 5 day gap, Los Angeles has a 7 day gap. Also someone said on another site that if you click on the info about the pre-sale it has more dates like San Diego, so I'm sure this isn't the entire list. Hell this list might not even be real since it hasn't "officially" been announced yet
I can't be bothered to see Roger Waters at these shitty venues. Seriously, after seeing him on the Polo Fields, I wouldn't even bother. Unless, its something like Red Rocks, HB Bowl or something like that (which won't ever happen).
and if he plays SD that means Sports Arena, add another shitty venue to the list...

As far as I'm concerned its The Wall and he could play it in a fucking trash can and I'd have to go
I wonder why he isn't doing it at Staples Center it seems like the most logical place in L.A. for the tour

Man, I totally regret passing on David Gilmour's tour several years ago. I still kick myself for missing Echoes performed live. The Wall can suck it though![]()

kk so there are going to be presales exclusively through rogerwaters.com... heres the email I just received
RogerWaters.com membership grants you eligibility to participate in the presales for Roger Waters The Wall Live tickets. In order to ensure that everyone has equal access to premium seating, we are holding draws for a chance to participate in our presales. Your membership entitles you to enter a draw for a chance to buy one (1) pair of tickets for up to five (5) shows selected by you from the list of included cities.
Here’s how the program will work:
1. You can enter the draws for up to five cities for your chance to participate in the presales on the Roger Waters The Wall Live tour. If you haven’t chosen your cities, please do that now. You will be able to update the cities you’ve chosen by logging into your RogerWaters.com account at any time.
2. You will receive an email from us just prior to each of your draws letting you know when presale links will be emailed out and the exact day and time of the ticket presale. To help ensure that there is no delay in receiving these messages, add tickets@RogerWaters.com to your address book and/or safe senders list now.
3. Prior to each ticket presale, a limited number of RogerWaters.com members will be randomly drawn from the list of those who expressed interest in buying tickets for that city. Each draw will include all members who have chosen that city up to the time of the draw, and is conducted entirely randomly by computer. The selected members will then receive email notifications to buy tickets that include a link to the presale as well as a reminder of the exact presale start time. These links are personalized to the selected member, are non-transferable and non-reusable. Each link is eligible for exactly one PAIR of tickets only.
4. If you are selected for a presale it does not guarantee that you will receive tickets, only the opportunity to participate in a limited presale. Orders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as of the designated presale start time.
5. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable after purchase.
6. If you are not selected, you will be notified via email.
7. Your eligibility for each of the cities you have chosen is distinct and will not affect your selection and/or any successful purchase you may make for other cities.
You forgot the important info. How much does it cost to join Roger's club?
Stupidly I signed up before the web site launched, so I'm hoping I'm not disqualified, but it was free. It allowed me to choose five dates and add up to five other people to send emails to suggesting to join the club. If you click on the premium tickets link on the page it will give you the option to join.
I signed up. I don't think it was stupid or would disqualify you. For some reason I couldn't sign up with google chrome though, I had to switch to firefox.
So far i'm thinking Phoenix and Vegas but we'll see what materializes
Ok so the dates you can sign up for the presale for that are not on the list of dates are:
San Diego
Oakland
Albany
Atlantic City
Milaukee
I'm thinking that I might want to go to the San Diego date or possibly the Las Vegas date as well. Since the Vegas date is the day after Thanksgiving I may just make a weekend out of it.
One other reason Waters isnt playing Staples, is this tour is through Live Nation. AEG does all their arena shows at Staples....
