So apparently there will be no female back up singers for this tour. Hopefully he is sticking close to the original format of The Wall shows and having male backing vocals. Also it was confirmed by Roger's manager today that rehearsals for the show will start in the U.S. sometime during August.
From twitter.
From Roger Waters management that the Roger Waters The Wall Tour 2010 will be announced on Roger's new website on 12th April 2010 at 2pm EST
Thanks for the info. My dad and I are really looking forward to this.
I have a feeling my worst fears are about to be confirmed... Tickets are going to go onsale during Coachella and I'm going to be fucking furious
EDIT:
Roger's new website is www.rogerwaters.com
If you go on it now its still just the sony music icon like it has been for the past 6 months or so

I'm not all that worried. I know i'll be there one way or another.
Some guy had tickets for DSOTM tour in Phoenix on ebay before they even hit ticketmaster last time. The seats were about 25 rows back just to the left of the sound board. We looked at the seating chart and said fuck it and purchased them because they were perfect view. I think face value was around $80 with fees. We paid this guy $110 and figured it was worth the extra $30 to have the perfect seats and they were beautiful. You don't want to be too close for a Waters show, especially a show like this and there is no telling where ticketmaster will randomly find you seats.
What venue was it, Cricket? That has to be where he's playing, no?
That's where he played last time but I thought we had word that this has changed from ampitheaters to arenas and Supre said it should be the same markets as last time. So i'm guessing it's either Jobing or Us Airways if Supre is right.
So from what I heard today, tickets should be going onsale in May... Thank fucking God
Hey...that's my Wall! (as it blows away...)
I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country. . . . corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed.
Red Rocks, please.
Rhythm is a dancer.
how many bazillion times can one person do the same tour? I will toss a big ol' "who gives a fuck" into the mix here
If this is all true I will be there !!!!
Fo Sho!!!
Supre, if you had to guess... where will he play near San Francisco, and how much will tickets be? And how many drugs am I personally going to take?
Oracle Arena, my guess.
