FIRST OFF:
Some of us have other expenses that we have to pay for, so don't be so quick to judge. I understand that ITS NOT that much but its simply not JUST $60. Its $380 PLUS everything else we have to buy for Camping.

SECOND:

The camping passes did NOT sell out like this. That is obviously why everyone is freaking out about it.

When you're going with a big group of friends, its hard to organize who is for sure going and who isn't. Its not a simple yes or no.

This thread was never about making ticket requests. PF is right. This is just a call to end with the idiotic exchange requests that are not even feasible. In any case, the more action PF takes to limit these ticket-trading threads, the better opportunity my own begging thread has of reaching a potential seller.

I understand how ANNOYING it is to have people pleeing and begging. I get it. Many of you are fans who have gone to Coachella every year and know when tickets sell out and know the drill. Many of us who are first timers, or only went last year, DONT. I know, I know...its exhausting when all the NOOBZ aren't as up to par as the rest of the Coachella regulars.

But what a lot of people don't get is, those people who are asking for exchanges, are those who DO have camping passes that DON'T have a pass to a certain day. I've seen a few of those posts. I've also seen people bargain to let people stay on their camping lot in exchange for rides, tix, etc...

Its called a bartering system. Its a great system when it works and its not the dumbest thing in the world. There are thousands of people going to Coachella with different needs. Some can stay the whole time, and some are leaving on specific days cause they can't make all three days. So why not barter if you can?

One pass for the duration is a standard destination festival format. I feel like if I grasp your lips firmly and peel them back until they settle anxiously on opposite sides of your neck your skull would fall out like a candy treat.

Do you realize how ridiculous of a statement this is? How do you think Goldenvoice could possibly think of the "thousand people with a thousand different needs?" Obviously they are not able to please everybody. However, what they are trying to do is enhance the experience for everyone's needs that are able to met. If they tried to meet with every single need for every single person that was thinking of attending Coachella, we would get a very poorly organized and subpar festival, rather than the worldclass festival we have.

Im not talking about the people who organized Coachella. Im talking about the people who are attempting to Barter with one another. For example:

Someone may not be staying the whole time, so they may "sell" their camping spot to someone who is looking to crash from spot to spot. (And don't give me that bullshit that you MUST stay there the entire weekend, they will escort you out if you have to leave.)

OR

Someone can only afford to stay in a hotel for one night, so they need to find a place to crash for the rest of the weekend.

THOSE are the types of needs I'm talking about.

OH and BY THE WAY. If somebody doesn't understand something, try explaining it to them rather than being an asshole about it. But that might take too much human decency to do, and judging by the people on here who are quick to lash out because they have a superiority complex or are straight up bitter, it doesn't exist. Just because you got a response to everything, doesn't mean you know jack shit.

The thing, Coachella is now a 3-day festival, and only a 3 day festival. Most destination festivals around the world are like that. Nobody goes to Glastonbuy for 1 day. Nobody goes to Bonnaroo for one day either. By making it a 3-day festival, it enhances the experience for all attending. If someone can't make it all 3 day, well then yes... they miss out. But what is unfortunate for them, is fortunate for everyone else who is attending.

The thing you seem to missing the point about is that there are no single day passes for sale, yet some people are claiming they will trade their single day pass for a camping pass. There is no bartering system in this case, because there is no single day pass.

I am trying to logical and reasonable with you here. I am explaining to you what you seem to not be able to understand. I hope this brings light to the situation for you.
