Nialler9 informs us that Four Tet and Caribou's Dan Snaith are readying a split vinyl release through Four Tet main man Kieran Hebden's Text Records imprint. Above, you can stream a radio rip of Four Tet's shuffling, groove-heavy contribution, "Pinnacles", that was played on BBC Radio host Giles Peterson's show recently (via Consequence of Sound); you can also check out Snaith's contribution under his new alias Daphni, the dark, driving "Ye Ye". According to Caribou's Soundcloud page, the split is "soon to be released"

I got a hold of that Altrice remix of 'Sun' a while back and it didn't stick. The Junior Boys' remix, however, was a keeper. That's awesome for Altrice, though.

Another DJ that has been blowin' up due to his remix of 'Helicopter' by Deerhunter is Star Slinger. I like him.

Holy Guacamole! This Stem album has one of the best beginnings to a remix album I've ever heard. "Siphon Away" is dope. Great find, Geezr. I will comment later after further listening.

BTW, the link you posted was to a Merge Records page with only a stream of the remix album. Am I missing a hyperlink to DL the whole album?

Go down to their Video section. The "Kaputt" video is so hilarious! It's sort of like that "High and Dry" video by Radiohead in that different people are mouthing the words to the songs.
