overnight parking

Does anyone know if there will over night parking. My friends have a camp spot and i'm gonna camp with them but i have to leave early sunday. i was wondering if there was over night parking at all? even if they charge?

seriously. i still have faith all this is going to work out and GV never dissappoints. but damn this is ridiculous.

a person who drives in and camps will have too much extra room, but the large parties who carpool are gonna be crammed like sardines. not to mention the town will be littered with cars left the whole weekend cause there is no more overnight parking available.

So I emailed the info email for coachella to ask about the whole parking situation since my friends and I bought one camping pass under the assumption that we were only gonna take one car but something has come and now we have to drive two. I asked where we could park the extra car overnight and I got this response..

"IF YOU ARE MEETING FRIENDS THAT HAVE A SPOT AND ARE CAMPING, AND YOU HAVE A FESTIVAL TICKET, THEY WILL DIRECT YOU WHERE TO GO WHEN YOU GET THERE. ITS FINE.


THERE ARE NO MORE ONSITE CAMPING TICKETS LEFT FOR PURCHASE"

That didn't really answer my question as to where we can park the extra car.. *sigh* i don't understand why we can't just park both cars in our 10x30 spot. even with both cars in the spot, we'd still have 10x15 space left..

In the camping FAQ
It looks like there's only separate overnight parking for RV campers. Like people that bring a separate car beside their RV, or people that arrive later that are RV camping.

Where do people that are staying with me in my RV but driving up separately park for the weekend?

There will be a dedicated area for RV related cars to park in Lot 13A.

It would be nice if there were a separate lot for normal campers. I won't car camp if I have a lot to stick my car in.

Unless you are driving clown cars, there isn't a chance in hell you'd have that much space. SmartCars are almost 9 feet long.

sure measurements are simple just not usually applied to camping/parking spaces so these is no familiarity
