Guess that rules them out for Coachella next year.
Dave talks a lot, so who knows. A hiatus for Foo would hopefully mean a return to the studio for Them Crooked Vultures. Although, Queens is in the studio now so would guess they would be touring before any of that happens.
"by dedicating his "Three Days" song to them." Assume that is "These Days" the writer is referring to. My god what a shitty article.

Why doesn't somebody just go find him here in the valley and ask him? It's not like he lives in a fortress or something.
Remember last time someone spoke to Dave in Ventura and he said Coachella was totally happening?
It's highly possible they just want to take time off and spend time with their families.

Dave posted on Facebook that he was just talking to the fans in the uk about shows in the uk and for the internets to stop eavesdropping.
Just saw that NME came out with a list of worlds richest drummers, Dave Grohl at #3 with $225 million. Def. doesn't need to tour.

That is such a misnomer calling him one of the "world's richest drummers," but yes, the dude has a lot of money.

He's still a drummer to me, dammit!

Sounds like Omar is kind of a huge dick based on reading all of this. He says in an interview that hanging out with all his "friends, the At The Drive-In guys" inspired him to start a "Band for the first time in years," rather than something he started and led and dictated. So that's how he treats his friends? Standing on stage, looking like he's hating every minute of working together while Cedric gives his all to make things work?
Fuck Omar.
Saw that one coming a mile away....
The Black Angels - Explosions in the Sky - Amon Tobin - Madness - Yuck - GIRLS - WU LYF - M. Ward - Refused - Pulp
Radiohead - Bon Iver - Jeff Mangum - Godspeed You! Black Emperor - fIREHOSE - Flying Lotus - Buzzcocks
Company Flow - At the Drive-In - Beirut - Real Estate - DJ Shadow - Seun Kuti - Beats Antique - Thundercat
It's too bad things ended so badly between Cedric and Omar. The two warm up ATDI shows I saw in Texas were a blast but it was pretty obvious that Omar wasn't feeling it.

You get new music and you complain about some irrelevant band breaking up. Get a hold of yourselves people. It's not like they were Radiohead or anything.
Black Flag. None of this bullshit Keith Morris, Chuck Dukowski and whoever they find to play the other instruments Black Flag. Greg Ginn. Dukowski. Robo. Ron Reyes. FUCKING BLACK FLAG.
Fuck Coachella, get me to England.
Edit: I guess Dukowski's not there. Hmph. Still, no one else they get would do the noise solos that Ginn will nail. Hopefully Robo wears his metal bracelets.
So the VIOLENT FEMMES are reuniting at Coachella?!
So Coachella got these reunion:
Jurassic 5
The Three O'Clock
Violent Femmes
The Postal Service
Grinderman (kinda)
