A man goes into a clifftop restaurant and sees that the special of the day is seagull. He decides to order that but when it arrives, he takes one bite, rushes out of the restaurant and jumps off the cliff to his death.

I hate this riddle. By nature, riddles should be something where when you find out the answer, you have that ah-ha moment where you feel stupid for not figuring it out earlier. With this, there's no possible way to figure it out without asking a ton of questions.

I agree, Courtney. It's like an inside joke. There's an anecdote to go with it, but it only makes sense to the people who were there for the story. In a manner of speaking, this is a "you had to be there" sort of riddle.
