I see car/tent spots. But that's not the same thing, right?
all the READY 2 GO packages seem to be, minus 7x7 @ $200
Yup same thing. You can park your car in your camping area if you'd like.

"Every car entering the Car Camping area must have (1) Car Camping spot ticket to enter. In addition, everyone entering Car camping is required to have a festival ticket. You/your group must camp next to your car(s). For safety reasons, vehicles are not permitted to leave and re-enter this area and every car camping spot must include a car."
So this is about a separate Car only camping?
I have a camping ticket available to sell.
Sounds like people who want camping passes shouldn't wait to get them ...it could sell out.
edit: basing that on some comments PF has made and the wording in the email from Coachella today:
If you plan on car camping, you might want to hurry up and get your camp spot.
I am mildly confused: I thought that when we got there we would have the option to non-car camp if we bought the tix from the screen shot above.
I wasn't able to parse anything useful out of the descrip, but I probably could have read more carefully.
Anyone sort this out yet?
1 Coachella before I got sober, 7 since. I support both versions. If you wanna do the sober version, roll with us:

Not sure if they're sold out but PF answered the car/tent question here.

If you want to camp you need a pass. If you want to park a car you need a pass. You can park and camp in the same spot with one pass.
Yes they are sold out now.
If you are interested in a car/tent camping ticket, PM me. I am selling the camp spot for $150. 7x7 was 50 last year so be thankful.
If the do sell out 150 might not be a bad price. I'm starting to feel a little less silly for accidentally having an extra camping ticket.
True but doesn't mean you would have to stay in the tent-only camping area. Or even have a tent. You could "surf" and stay in a different camping spot each night as long as whoever has the spot agrees to let you crash. You just need a festival ticket to enter the camping area(s).
you buy two spots. one for the car, leave it in car camping, people next to your car rejoice for extra space. you walk over to tent only camping and use your other spot. OR you dont have to buy another spot if you are just joining someone in tent camping. but your car will need a spot.

If you plan on leaving your car overnight at the venue, you must purchase a Car Camping pass.

the whole selling out thing confuses me.. if GV has zero idea how many of the camping tickets are tent only and how many are car camping (as they are sold as the same ticket), then are you saying ALL camping tickets are close to selling out?
I think that's right too. I think the issue is IF camping sells out, it will be much easier for people WITHOUT cars to find a place to camp.* It will be harder to find a place to park your car. So, if you plan on driving a car you should buy your camping ticket so you have a place to leave your car.
*Because you don't need a camping ticket to camp - you just need a festival ticket and someone with a camping spot to agree to let you stay with them. Or you need to be really sneaky so they don't notice you.
