I would go to that show if it was here and I didn’t have to travel. The thing I most dislike about Shoreline is the slope of the lawn. And how you have to park a mile away from the entrance. Oh and the seats on the far left and far right are toooooo far to the left and the right of the stage. And the sound on the lawn is not load enough. I guess there are a couple of things I don’t like about that venue even though I have been there a bunch. Here is an old pic from shoreline …….

the year they had the 11 dollar tickets and didnt use the amphitheatre was for the best year of BFD and ive been to several.....

they should just dump using the amphitheatre and use the lot and let us all drink and be merry..

was that 2008.....they used the stage as a 'autograph booth' and had their shitty interviews w/bands performing that day.

Ive gone to a few BFDs, though Ive felt VERY OLD the last two years I went. the $10.53 tickets in 2008 MADE the festival, but I also really liked the way they changed up the layout and presentation. Ive never been a fan of the main stage at the shoreline unless I have lower bowl seats, so I was a huge fan of the festival stage(s) and how they handled the set changes.

the Subsonic tent WAS BFD 2009. I like the Offspring and 311 and watched their sets for the first time, but for the most part I found myself in the tent and im NOT a subsonic kinda guy either for the most part, but NONE of the other bands on the festival stage did anything for me. Rebelution did, but they were on at the same time as Zion-I was in the Subsonic and Im a big Zion-I fan.

Ill probably go again this year. Id bet they get this new Travis Barker/A-Trak thing. I know this board wasnt fond of the Travi$/AM thing, but it seems like a perfect fit for a radio station festival. I know they were pretty blown away by Pretty Lights at SXSW so that makes sense. I'd love for to see Infected Mushroom live again. I know they're gonna be at the pop thing in May, but I doubt Im going to that.
