I love love love H. Jon Bejamin. His voice work somehow fits perfectly with every character he plays, no matter how divergent. Hilarious.

I think in comparison to the gold that is season 1 and even the most of season 2, especially Terms of Enrampagement, it was a disappointment, oh well.

Finale was kind of lame, but the rest of this season has been gold. So glad it came back strong. Also the writers are so intelligent...the reference that Carol/Cheryl's pet ocelot Babou is the same species/name as Salvador Dali's killed me. I love that the references are so obscure you miss a ton, but the ones you catch are fucking hilarious.

All time favorite quote has to be between "Blimps are terrible!" and "Awww, he thinks he's people!" Also love the pronunciation of "kee-bahbs" from the first season. Best character has to be between Pam and the Archer/Woodhouse interactions..."I don't know if they grade it but....coarse."

The finale was OK IMO.
They were trying to create some depth in Archer's character. And he now as a new super-human nemesis (which makes the series feel a little Frisky Dingo-ish)

To me they've spent almost the entire series jamming down our throats the idea that Archer is a complete selfish asshole and out of nowhere he does a 180, seems like they just pulled it out of nowhere. DON'T LET THIS THINK THAT I DON'T APPRECIATE THE WRITERS THOUGH. I have to agree, this show is amazing because of the obscure references and the hilarious banter.

Creating character depth doesn't mean reversing it and creating a superficially opposite character. An enduring show generally has complex characters. Archer's not supposed to be a soulless womanizing smart-ass. It's turning out to be a bit of a facade. He's got a bunch of neuroses involving missing daddy issues and a whole mountain of mommy issues (which clearly influence his relationships with women).

I dont' think the writers have jammed anything down anyone's throat.
