A good song should make you wanna tap your feet and get with your girl. A great song should destroy cops and set fire to the suburbs. I’m only interested in writing great songs. - Tom Morello

There is a local Phoenix indie band called Dear and the Headlights what recently released their first album.
I didn't particularly like them live, though.
I'd personally like to thank the thread starter for making me listen to Voltbeat.
And by thank I mean "stab in the ear".

I'd have to say Mika's "Life In Cartoon Motion", followed closely by Patrick Wolf's "The Magic Position" and Dungen's "Tio Bitar".
So far this years all about new albums from old favorites:Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, The Shins, Kaiser Chiefs, and from the five tracks I've heard of it the new Travis album will most likely get added to that as well.
2005, 2007, 2011, 2012 W1, 2012 W2, 2013 W1, 2013 W2, and SOON 2014 W1 & 2014 W2!!
I'm only counting the ones that are officially released so I'll go with Of Montreal's Hissing Fauna, Are you the Destroyer?
yablo, did it change your life?
Deerhoof and Andrew Bird and Busdriver.
Of Montreal
Modest Mouse
The Shins
