Who's going to the Portugal. The Man show on Friday? I'll be there, with a couple of highly-respected Phoenicians in tow.

Sweet. that opens up any conflicts that she may have @ Coachella.

I leave for Sasquatch on Thursday, so I am totally checking out M83 that Wednesday.

I know this is a huge deal and probably deserves its own thread, but I'll put it in here for now.

Glendale, AZ – Rojo Event Management, in conjunction with the Arizona Cardinals, is pleased to announce the Second Annual Big Red Rib & Music Festival will take place on the Great Lawn at Sportsman’s Park, just outside of University of Phoenix Stadium. This four-day event will start on Thursday afternoon, April 26 and run through Sunday, April 29.

Presented by Fry’s Food Stores, the Big Red Rib & Music Festival will feature live music, great food and fun for all ages. The 2012 Arizona Cardinals Draft Party, presented by the Valley Chevy Dealers, will take place on Thursday evening. On Friday evening, KC & The Sunshine Band will get everyone on their feet and show why they have sold over 100 million records in their storied musical career. Saturday will feature local bands throughout the day and multi-platinum singer/storywriter Kenny Loggins taking fans through his four decades of hit songs. Beatlemania Live! will perform on main stage on Sunday afternoon.

There will be eight award-winning rib masters from around the county setting up on the Great Lawn during the festival. Whether it’s a full slab of their famous ribs, pulled pork or beef brisket, barbeque fans should mark the Big Red Rib & Music Festival on their calendars.

    Event Schedule:

Thursday, April 26---4:00 PM-9:00 PM (Arizona Cardinals Draft Party - Free admission)
    Friday, April 27---4:00 PM-11:00 PM
    Saturday, April 28---11:00 AM-11:00 PM
Sunday, April 29---12:00 PM-6:00 PM (Free admission)

    Event Location and Parking

The Great Lawn at Sportsman’s Park is just located to the west of University of Phoenix Stadium. Free event parking will be available in the West (Orange) carpark.

    Ticket Information:

General Admission tickets for Friday and Saturday are only $5.00 for adults. General admission tickets for seniors (60 & over) along with active and retired military are only $1.00. Children 12 and under are admitted free all four days. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance at the University of Phoenix Stadium ticket office or at the Big Red Rib & Music Festival entrance on event day.

A limited amount of reserved seats can be purchased for KC & The Sunshine Band on Friday, Kenny Loggins on Saturday and Beatlemania Live! on Sunday. These tickets will go on sale Monday, April 2 and can be purchased on-line at www.ticketmaster.com or University of Phoenix Stadium ticket office.

Sucks for those who were gonna attend, although at least it's better you found out now as opposed to next Monday after you had skipped them at Coachella because you were planning to see them in Phoenix.

The Crescent show should have been at the Marquee honestly. I'm surprised they got M83 to play at such a small venue.

I don't know how they did it either, but I sure am glad they did because that concert was awesome, and it was an excellent introduction to the Crescent Ballroom.

They cancelled in New Mexico too, so it was M83's schedule conflict, not the Marquee's.
