I have only heard good things about the Besnard Lakes' new album. I have their prior album and it was definitely forgettable.

Tomas, The Besnard Lakes are the Dark Horse was so-so for me - other than "Disaster" and "Devistation," until seeing them live. Atmospheric and awesome. I am interested to see how it'll play outside.

tix for az fall frenzy are $75 for Fri (STP, The Cult) and $80 for Sat (Weezer, Sublime, Primus, Devo).

PASS - those prices are outrageous

and it looks like the 3rd day is actually a different fest...its the Rockstar Energy "Uproar" tour. pass on that too...horrible lineup.

tix are $45

Jason, just an FYI. I pulled up the best available $125 ticket for the Vegas show and those are in the Upper Level or 200 section as well. Good seats are more than $250 bucks and that's just not happening for me. We may even be considering the $75 seats for that show depending on cash. We are going and getting tickets no matter what though just debating on which seats to go for.

i'd be ok with that $125 for 200 level at vegas...i know that vegas is gonna be much more $$ than most locations. $75 seats are gonna be against the back wall though. so go with $125 or let me know that you're gonna go for cheap seats and i'll get a $125 one separately.

i'm passing on the az frenzy, so i'm definitely going to need to catch at least one date of this primus/gogol tour elsewhere.

and Dave and I are probably going to go down and hang out on Mill bridge during Primus at AZ Frenzy, if anyone wants to join in and then grab a drink on Mill after.

Pulled the trigger on Saturday for Fall Frenzy. The wife is a big Weezer fan, and I'm down for another DEVO performance. Bit expensive, but at least there aren't any surcharges, which makes it more like a $65 ticket if you bought it at ticketbastard.

it was a weird sale though. it has two tiers of prices, and a lists 4 sections for each. it doesnt tell you where your seats are at...only that in the coming weeks, pairs of tickets bought will be seated together in the listed sections based on the order of the purchases. very weird.

i assume, though, that these must be handpicked sections that will be "best" for seeing the show from. so this should be good. tix bought.

weird that they would all of a sudden have extra presale tix. i was suprised.
