An arena is the last place I'd want to see the Black Keys. Pretty burnt out on them anyway. Over-saturation.
Yeah, too close to my trip. I'll be seeing them in Tucson and at the Gorge though.
I'm 50/50 - getting over a hellacious bout of stomach flu. I know what you all look like so if I see ya, I see ya. If not, another time.

Did anyone go to the JEFF the Brotherhood show at Rhythm Room last night? If so how was it? I'm seeing them tomorrow, hoping for a preview.
Yep. It wasn't the best I've seen them, but they were solid. Not much playing to the crowd. The guitar solos were quick and less flashy than other times I've seen them. It seemed like they wanted to get in and out. The Rhythm Room has that effect on some bands. They played a mix of old and new songs. I prefer the old songs a lot more than the new: Heavy Days, U Got the Look, Bone Jam, Ripper. But at least they played them. The new songs have less dynamics and seem to be targeting a slightly different audience. Crowd was small but energetic. Friends that went and had never seen them before enjoyed it a little more than I did. People got down to most of the set so you should have a good time.

Let's hear those Spiritualized reviews you bastards.
Yeah, Fax, how was the show?
You guys are the worst.
Spiritualized were fantastic live. I wish I had the words to describe it. Alchemy was there too, maybe ask him. It was psychedelic, gospel perfection, and the guitar jams were amazing to behold. I was completely enthrallled. I also loved the female back-up singers and the harmonica. They played Come Together right before they left the stage for the first encore, and I was left begging for more with my jaw dropped on the floor. YOU MISSED OUT, TOMMY.
Yeah Tommy, nice one.
Nice review Amyzzz! Such an amazing experience. Born Never Asked/Electric Mainline was so good live. I could of listened to them play that all night-captivating. Slight swaying of the crowd during Soul on Fire. And there were actually some complete songs where nobody took out their cell phone to film!
Tommy, that's nice that you go to your niece's birthday parties. I'm a bit annoyed that my sister-in-law didn't go to my daughter's birthday party earlier in the day Saturday.
Timestretch, do you know the title of the instrumental song in which the tempo started going faster and faster, and the background movie looked like it was in space? Sorry if that is not enough detail. I LOVED THAT SONG.
