Oh, the presale is in 14 minutes on the Phoenix Website. Register on the site with facebook. So many tickets this morning!
FYI all tickets for this show are will call only night of the show from what I understand. Get ready for a clusterfuck. Also, we are going to find out just how terrible the Marquee has become since expanding it's capacity to nearly double without really adding much space. Has anyone been to a sold out show there in the last month? I haven't heard much but my coworker says the one or two shows that did sell out were pretty cramped.

Ticket secured for Phoenix.
2 tickets for Phoenix PURCHASED! My cc is taking a hit this morning!
Fresh off his "JUICY AUSTRALIA TOUR"
Is anyone checking out Rodriguez at Crescent? Are tickets still avialable?
Speaking of documentaries FilmBar is showing Sound City Players starting tonight. I just purchased tickets for Saturday nights showing.
Oh shit, I didn't realize Metz and Boris both have shows that go on sale tomorrow at Crescent.
Amy, they were doing some renovations to the Marquee when we were there for the Hives in October. Haven't been back since but I think that was done in anticipation of their Green Day & Morrissey shows (both of which, of course, ended up being postponed & haven't happened yet). I have no idea what that'll mean for the floor; Jason Kenyon might be a good person to ask on Facebook.
I will quiz my co-worker a bit more the next time I see him on the Marquee expansion. I have not seen it so i'm not sure. From what I recall he described it as being so packed that the entire patio is full and the lobby. I don't know how they could sell tickets if you have to listen from the patio though. He knows all the details so i'll report back in a couple of days when I find out more. He said they were raising capacity to like 2000 and they did this about a month ago.
The one consistent complaint that continues over the years is the will call line. I know someone who was at Trampled By Turtles and they said it was almost an hour wait to grab their tickets. I do like that I can bike and light rail to it though.
If I ever get stuck with will call tickets at Marquee, I try to go by earlier in the day at like 3 or 4 to pick them up. The line isn't always long at show time, but when it is, it is unbearable. I know not everyone can swing by Marquee in the afternoon but I highly recommend it if you can.
