Damn. I've been wanting to see the opener Blood Orange for awhile, but I don't like FATM at all. Hopefully, I'll catch a club date somewhere before he jumps on that tour.

Edit: Now that were on a new page in this thread, I'm going to miss seeing "Faxl" at the top.

Does anyone know what the ticketing situation is like for Florence and the Machine? I'm supposed to buy tickets for my wife and her sister, but the last couple shows I went to at Comerica had some weird policies to prevent scalping, such as the first 20 rows are ticketless, etc. I'm just trying to get out of having to go down to the box office with them the night of the show. I can't seem to find anything on the Livenation site and the customer service rep I just spoke with at Comerica was an idiot.

I don't think it's a Comerica thing; I think it's an artist thing. (Like Arcade Fire did that at a lot of their shows).

Arcade Fire did it, and then the Bon Iver/Fleet Foxes show was a similar ticketing situation.

Super stoked for Spiritualized. Last time I saw them was at the Bash on Ash right before I moved from Phoenix, which was about 7 years ago or so.

Give me an album. They're known for their onstage breakdowns, right? Did they cancel Coachella a couple years ago, or did their show go off seamlessly and people were left disappointed at the lack of onstage drama?

Am I correct that this is playing at the Cinemark in Mesa tonight at 7:30PM with no other showtimes or locations in the valley? I want to see this but I have school tonight so if that is the case, it sucks.

Ok, I guess we're going to go wild and do the movie AND Zola Jesus. I'm really regretting wearing a dress and heels to work.

in my honest opinion, the chemical brothers are the best thing in edm right now.. holy shit, that was a well put together film. i had goosebumps the entire hour and a half just watching it, reliving what i experienced last year. i feel sorry for anyone who hasn't had the chance to see them live.

    Coachella '10, '11, '12 (w2), '13 (w1), and hopefully every one after

enjoyed the movie, definitely brought back vibes of their show at coachella. lot of great camera angles putting you in the crowd. loved the strange interludes of fuji rock and the girl's trip.

and yes, should've been a little louder.

Echo everything else that's been said. It's one of the better live concert films. Some really intense moments. LMAO to some of the reactions to the clown and the guy with his eyes rolling in the back of his head.

Give us a review of Zola Jesus? Wondering how she is live.

Zola was good. Started off a bit slow and all of her songs were sounding the same but then she had some rocking numbers in the middle of her set. Think Fever Ray with all the smog but none of the lamps. Or the creep factor.

The only shows I'm planning on attending this month are Polica on Wed the 22nd (so a no for you) and the Grimes/Born Gold show on Monday the 27th. Born Gold is always a crazy dance party so I'm really looking forward to that. You people should go!!!

Also announced today is Hunx and his Punx with Justin from No Bunny at Yucca on 4/20 for anyone into trashy rock n roll.

Next Saturday (11th) you can catch the Gin Blossoms at the Capitol for Arizona Best Fest featuring a salute to AZ with Jan Brewer! George Benson, who is a great jazz guitarist, is playing the fest Sunday night. I think the big show at the Crescent this week is Dr. Dog, which I heard is almost sold out.
