I saw Duran Duran there with the rotating stage.
"There's something weird happening up here. I'm standing perfectly still, yet you're all spinning around me".
That was a great show too.
It says the stage will not be rotating for Bad Brains in the show info.

I love Celebrity as a venue and wish it got used more often.
Most recently I sat second row and watched Erykah Badu on the rotating stage, unbelievable show.
I've also seen Wu-Tang, Deftones, O.A.R. (dont ask), Dilated Peoples w/ Jurassic 5 all with the rotating stage.
My favorite, however, was Primus doing a two set show wherein one of the sets they played Sailing the Seas of Cheese in it's entirety. Les Claypool walking along the edge of the stage abusing his bass was something to see.
My most recent show at Celeb was Etta James... that old bag has still got it!

Ludacris is opening for Black Eyed Peas.
*sigh* this makes me want to go, I love Luda.
I haven't seen too many shows with the rotating stage. The only ones I can think of are; Outkast, Slipknot, and Deftones.
Bought my Bad Brains ticket yesterday at Celebrity Theatre, total cost $18.

I ended up buying 5 tickets for the Phoenix show, 2 people backed out last minute, and Sarah couldn't go because she wasn't feeling well. Lucky for me the show was sold out and I was able to get rid of the tickets pretty easily at the venue, but it was a pain in the ass so I decided going forward I am only buying tickets for myself, Sarah and me, or if someone gives me money for their ticket ahead of time.

i wound up at a bone thugs and harmony show and watched the three vomit inducing openers on the rotating stage before i left. also the only show i've ever been to there but i thought the venue was pretty fucking cool.
Brickhouse is closed down, so I say Celebrity.
Also Celebrity has a much higher capacity than Brickhouse ever did.
Also when going to shows at Brickhouse I generally parked right by Madison Street Jail; I'd say the increased cop presence would cut down on incidents.
Celebrity Threatre hands down way more dangerous.

06-28 Phoenix, AZ - TBA
hmm wonder where it'll be? Guess the rhythm room makes the most sense, but this new album is probably going to get a lot of hype too...
really hoping I can make it up for this

I'm sure that can be arranged, we should go a little early so we can hang out at the cool bar downstairs... I wonder if BB will have a cool gig poster for sale...
