Glad you enjoyed it. I love the Rialto. You should look into The National/Owen Pallett show in October.

Likewise. I'm still recovering from lack of sleep and excess of alcohol. Good meeting you Marc.

I'm already trying to nudge my children into going to a school-sponsored Friday night Halloween-type thing instead of trick or treating on Sunday so I can go to Tucson. I doubt many kids in our neighborhood will be trick-or-treating Sunday anyway, what will all the churchy nuts in Mesa.

It depends... they have early shows sometimes. I remember Little Dragon started around 6-7 and finished around 8-9. I don't think I've been to a show there where the band has gone on past midnight...

Found this info on Jambase. Could this be a leak on KFMA's Fall Ball lineup? I don't know of any other shows being held at TEP besides KFMA sponsered events.

Yeah. It's Fall Ball. I'm kind of surprised KFMA would book an "electronic/dj" act like Girl Talk... then again I'm sure the kfma crowd loves him.

I saw RATATAT there a couple years ago and the show went on past midnight. They were quick to get everyone out once it ended though, so they could open it back up as a club for the night. It was also a Saturday night show so this could have been an exception.

Hmmm. Where was I for that show? Anyway, I think you're right about weekends being the exception. I'll find out though next time I'm in there.

I have a feeling you are going to see more of this at KFMA events. There are so many festivals all over the place now that I wouldnt be surprised to see them start evolving events like this and KFMA day into events involving more genres of music.

I am not implying that there will be a Coachella-sized event in AZ anywhere, but I think that you will see more electronic music and hip hop at these events as the years go by. If KFMA day or Fall Ball touched more genres I would probably go, but I have avoided those events for years now.

KFMA day draws a decent crowd already, so if it expanded the music a little I bet it could be a pretty big state-wide event.

Agreed. I loathe Girl Talk, but I like the direction they're going. I went to the first two KFMA days in high school and I never would have thought they would branch out as much as they have. I wonder if Muse was any good at KFMA day this year.

    I heard they were.

When did you graduate high school? Were you a part of the Tucson "rave scene" in the early 00's?

I went to Catalina Foothills... and no, I was not a part of the rave scene. I had questionable taste in music up until 2007 which was my first Coachella.

I've seen shows go as far as 2am before at congress.. but only thurs-sat on nights with a large lineup consisting of say 4 or more bands. also depends when the band shows up..The I 10 is a treacherous fuck

Oh ok, I only asked because I used to work with Surreal and spun at a few of their parties before ditching that scene in 2003.

I dated a couple of girls from Foothills back in the day. One graduated in 2001 and another in 2003, not sure when you went there.

2001 girl was Marcella Rivas and 2003 a girl by the name of Cami Ludt. Both were mistakes lol.

    Did you know Sydney French?

I made out with Sidney in Rocky Point back in the day.

    I might know you IRL.

Haha you're freinds with Rene? He NEVER remembers me.

I could have dated Sydney instead of Cami... don't ask me why I chose Cami. That's about as much dirt as I'll put on these boards. I'm on Matt's FB. Add me and I'll go into more detail lol.

Is there any pictorial evidence of said "huge jugs" so that the rest of us may ascertain their hugeness?
