That would be funny if Lil' Wayne showed up.

Not sure when it happened, but Twin Shadow was added to the Warpaint/The Pains of Being Pure At Heart show at Congress on Wednesday. Also on the bill are PVT(formerly Pivot) and Catwalk. Tix are $10 in advance and $12 the day of the show.
I'm pissed because if that show was in Phoenix I would totally be there, but it's not, so I'm going to see Arcade Fire instead.

The Fleet Foxes show at the Rialto is selling out, maybe today. If you are going to go, get your tix now.
The Loft will be showing Rubber starting tonight @ 10pm. It shows each night this week at that time.
In case you don't know anything about the film...
"Rubber is a 2010 French horror comedy film about a tire that comes to life and kills people with its psychic powers. It was directed and written by Quentin Dupieux."
In case you don't know who Quentin Dupieux is....
it's Mr. Oizo.
I will be seeing this sometime this week. Any other interested parties, hit me up.
Oh yeah, Mr. Oizo also did the soundtrack with some help from Gaspard from Justice.
After the Fleet Foxes sellout, we now have an Atmosphere sellout. Less than 20 tix left according to the Rialto. Get em' before they're gone.
Attending the Fleet Foxes show at the Rialto is the only legitimate excuse for not attending tonight's JUNIP show at Plush. No other excuses will be accepted.
Jose Gonzalez!!! Junip!! Plush!! Fucking go already!!!
Ticket purchased for Titus/Okkervil.
Hey Faxy, are you aware of the opening of the film Circo at the Loft here in Tucson? There will be a special appearance and performance from Joey & John from Calexico as well as the director of the film.
Details here: http://www.loftcinema.com/node/2332
Not sure if I will be attending this or the Asobi Seksu show at Plush which is the same night.
I will actually be in Vegas that weekend so I won't be attending. I'm on Calexico hiatus as well. Thanks for the heads up though and no I did not know about it.
Is there anything fun to do out here tonight?

I love the bio on "Silver Medallion"
"Born out of the ugly depths of the Phoenix club scene comes the genre-bending gripping group Silver Medallion. ...
Lol

If N9NE is more than $20, it's criminal.
Wait...what am I saying? The fiver is asking $50 plus fucking service charges. Steve Aoki played the Rialto for $30 a tix. Skrillex at the Rialto is $28. There must be an amazing market for shit EDM in AZ.
Why can't someone get Booka Shade to play in Arizona? Pretty please.

Lil Jon? LMAO
Seriously, Hes not even good at his own genre, let alone throwing down an electro DJ set.

I just booked a room at Hotel Congress for Okkervil/Titus. Should be a fun night. I expect to have many drinks before and during the show...
